New Sous Vide iPhone and iPad App

We're very happy here to announce the release of our latest project, a sous vide app for the iPhone and iPad. It's designed to be a handy time and temperature reference for when you are in the kitchen and don't want to hop on the internet to find a cooking temperature.

It's currently available on the iTunes store sous vide app page or search on your iphone or ipad for "sous vide".

It contains over 175 cuts of meat, types of fish and types of vegetables that we have compiled times and temperatures for. Most items have multiple times and temperatures so you can get a feel for the normal range they are cooked in.

Each major section also has a write up of how sous vide is normally applied to them and the general process for cooking that kind of item. We also include a section on sous vide safety and a quick introduction to sous vide.

We also realize how important experimentation is to sous vide so we added the ability for you to record your own notes and save them with each item of food. That way you don't have to try and remember what you did previously or how it worked out.
